3. CONCEPT & RATIONALE - AMY:

2. PHOTOGRAPHY & STYLING OUTCOME - GEORGIA:
- We wanted to incorporate mannerisms of the northern soul culture - we got our models to look moody/have no emotion, and happy when dancing and having fun to mimic the stereotyped culture.
- For styling we used a Ben Sherman t-shirt that said 'soul' on it along with shell suits and bomber jackets as they are all 60's & 70's fashion statements.
- We shot in Amaro Lounge on Ecclesall Road - it had a 60's vibe to it and the colours worked well for the 'vintage' look.
- 4 items we used to represent northern soul culture were the top, jacket, beer cigarettes and also pills which were all very big parts of the culture.

3. FILM - GEORGIA & AMY:
- Music & fashion video
- Song mix from an old fashioned top hit and a more modern one to link in with our concept.
- Mix of different styles that all relate to northern soul culture.

4. GIF - GEORGIA & AMY:
- Fits well as northern soul is very much about dance which is what the model in the gif is doing.
- Peak district - very northern
- Says 'MODERN SOUL' which is the name and concept of our project.
