EXHIBITION

EXHIBITION FOR MINE AND AMY'S WORK:

A few days ago myself and peers on my course (Fashion Management and Communication) visited a place called Kommune. This is an exhibition space for university students like myself (and many other working individuals) to showcase their work in hopes to become successful by being noticed in what they do, along with a food hall with some exquisite plates to choose from.

As a part of this module, all of over work for this project will be showcased in this exhibition area in order to celebrate the work we have produced. Many locals will be visiting this exhibition which is a great opportunity for exposure within our field. My work with Amy Phillips will be shown in this exhibition, the pieces that will be presented in this exhibition held by Sheffield Hallam University, will be our final photograph that we have put forward to represent Northern Soul and also the 60 second film we make about Northern Soul.

Here are some images that I took of the space we have been provided with for our exhibition:

Here is where our work will be exhibited, we have a lot of room however, this will be fitting 30 (roughly) different projects in at one time.

Here is the bar, this is something that will also draw customers in due to drinks which is a very sociable thing, this will result in them most likely looking at the art and exhibitions.
This is where the seating area for the food hall is, members of the public can have a break here in the middle of looking at the exhibited work or even just pop in for some food if they didn't want to look around/didn't know about it. This is an excellent way for exposure for the place itself as well as any new and upcoming artists. This is also an amazing business idea as it brings more money into the company as people will be hungry and want food after or before looking around, so it is beneficial that there is food right where they are.
More seating, also this area is surrounding by different art and gorgeous scenery.
